The brand new facility from Silfab Solar helps to double the manufacturing of solar modules

Silfab Solar’s highly efficient, high quality solar modules are now being shipped from its newest US manufacturing facility. The new facility in Burlington, Washington, is Silfab’s third facility in North America and features the latest in precision solar manufacturing equipment.

The Burlington facility will initially focus on producing the company’s latest Silfab Prime 370wt series. This state-of-the-art facility is able to manufacture panels using world-class technology and the most advanced cell configurations with the same quality and level of detail that has earned Silfab international awards for durability and power output.

“Silfab has a long and successful history of optimizing North American manufacturing quality and manufacturing high-quality, extremely durable and very efficient PV modules – developed and manufactured exclusively for North American homeowners,” says CEO Paolo Maccario. “The trademarks of Silfab – progressive technology, superior quality and first-class customer service – will also be in the foreground in our continuous expansion.”

Silfab launched its highly automated facility in Burlington to meet the ever increasing demand for its solar panel products in North America. Silfab manufactures back contact and mono PERC PV modules for the North American residential and commercial market. Since 2011, Silfab has made more than a dozen North American manufacturing capacity expansions, including millions in additional investments to expand and modernize Silfab’s Bellingham PV module assembly plant just 24 miles north of the new Burlington facility.
